TAQWA has established relationships and partnerships with a variety of service providers and Government agencies to assist with the delivery of some of these much-needed services.
This includes medical and dental care, psychological therapy, education, emotional wellbeing, spiritual wellbeing, cultural adaptation, language assistance and more. The assistance we provide is also catered to the specific needs of each family that arrives.
Founded in 1962 by Lebanese migrants, the Lebanese Muslim Association (LMA) is Australia’s oldest nonprofit Islamic organisation. With over 60 years of dedicated service, the LMA emerged from a deep commitment to address the diverse needs of the Muslim community.
The organisation was established to offer essential social, religious, educational, and recreational support, creating a space where community members could find connection, guidance, and opportunities for growth—locally and globally.
ISSA is a not for profit welfare organisation established in 1955. It provides a range of services to South Australia’s Muslim community and manages the Marion, Wandana, Elizabeth, Mount Gambier, Murray Bridge and Whyalla mosques.

In 2014, we founded Muslimcare Australia as an act of kindness to friends and family members of the community. Since then, we have been passionately serving those in need, and getting the beautiful reward of drawing a smile on their faces.
Although there are thousands of care providers that take care of seniors, and the differently-abled, we believe our community deserves services that align with their individual, cultural, social and religious preference.
We serve seniors over 65 years old, those who have a disability, people with housing problems, and youth. However, all Australians can get our help regardless of their condition.
Sisters With Helping Hands is a registered charity that is developing a new community centre called Hurricane Stars Community Centre in Karawatha. The centre will provide sports, recreation and community programs for all community members.
Kids in Business is a joint venture with Atheera Education and was created to address the gap in education that many children face. In today’s world, it is no longer enough to simply be a good student. Children need to be properly equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to be successful in their lives after school.
