TAQWA has established relationships and partnerships with a variety of service providers and Government agencies to assist with the delivery of some of these much-needed services.

This includes medical and dental care, psychological therapy, education, emotional wellbeing, spiritual wellbeing, cultural adaptation, language assistance and more. The assistance we provide is also catered to the specific needs of each family that arrives.

Founded in 1962 by Lebanese migrants, the Lebanese Muslim Association (LMA) is Australia’s oldest nonprofit Islamic organisation. With over 60 years of dedicated service, the LMA emerged from a deep commitment to address the diverse needs of the Muslim community.

The organisation was established to offer essential social, religious, educational, and recreational support, creating a space where community members could find connection, guidance, and opportunities for growth—locally and globally.

ISSA is a not for profit welfare organisation established in 1955. It provides a range of services to South Australia’s Muslim community and manages the Marion, Wandana, Elizabeth, Mount Gambier, Murray Bridge and Whyalla mosques.

In 2014, we founded Muslimcare Australia as an act of kindness to friends and family members of the community. Since then, we have been passionately serving those in need, and getting the beautiful reward of drawing a smile on their faces.

The Australian Muslim Social Services Agency (AMSSA) is a not-for profit organization based in Melbourne Victoria, that provides services that are tailored for the experiences and needs of the growing Muslim community in Australia.

AMSSA was established in 1990 with the sole purpose of creating a space or (a mosque) where the Muslim community could offer their daily prayers, however as the needs of the emerging Muslim community grew, AMSSA took the responsibility of providing the space and the support required to address those needs.

Today AMSSA has grown to become a well-recognized services provider and has built partnerships with more than 100 organizations (both public and private) to deliver services that will enable a vibrant Muslim community that will contribute to a diverse and resilient Australian Society through the values of Islam.

The United Muslims of Australia (UMA) is a not for profit, community and Islamic Dawah organisation that focuses on reviving the Islamic spirit in people’s lives in accordance to the Quran and Sunnah within a balanced framework of Islamic teachings.

• Provide Islamic lessons, forums, conferences and camps to Muslim youth that advocates the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
• To preserve the identity of Muslim youth and help overcome the problems faced in modern Australian society.
• To provide religious advice and meet the religious needs of the community.
• To introduce Islam to non-Muslims in its purest form as a comprehensive system and way of life and provide new Muslims with advocacy and support.

The Islamic Council of Queensland (ICQ) is the peak umbrella body which represents the interests of Muslims in Queensland. ICQ represents numerous organisations and mosques across approximately ten Queensland cities, which stretch from Brisbane and the Gold Coast to Cairns in North Queensland.
