Dr. Mahomed Khatree is a specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist consulting & working mainly at Sunnybank Private Hospital. Dr. Khatree was born in South Africa and graduated as a doctor from the University of Natal medical school in Durban. He did his specialist training at King Edward VIII Hospital in Durban and at Kings College Hospital in London.

He obtained his specialist degree in 1980 from both the Royal College of Obstetrician & Gyaecologist (London) and the College of Medicine of South Africa in 1980. He commenced private O & G practice in 1983 in Durban until 1997 when he moved to Australia.

Dr. Khatree was appointed as Deputy Director of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Logan Hospital & Senior Lecturer at University of Queensland in 1997.

He commenced private O & G at Logan Private Hospital in 2001 & is now based at Sunnybank Private Hospital since 2003.

Dr Khatree has worked in 3 continents and has been a specialist for 35 years. He has a wealth of clinical experience and expertise and you can be assured that you will be in safe hands under his care.

Dr Khatree has done over 5000 circumcisions on baby boys and is competent in the use of the Gomco and Plastibell methods.
